The intention, context, background, and general trajectory of this newsletter is available in the November 1 post and on the About page. So far we’ve introduced cultural givens, Shadow, adult development, and fear of the feminine and the subjugation of women. Today we’re dipping our toes into selected moments from an expansive Native American history — again, all in the context of understanding the United States in this third decade of the twenty-first century.
