Unadulterated* Unhealthy Masculine

A Tale of Three Petes

*While “unadulterated” typically means pure or not diluted, I’ve decided that it also means “not yet a developmental adult (regardless of chronological age).” This change has been adopted by the Associated Press stylebook, but not by the Trump White House.

Penelope Hegseth’s behavior demonstrates two aspects of a mother’s love: the integrity of calling out her son for his behavior towards and with women, and then the loyalty of defending him publicly in order to limit the damage her earlier integrity might cause. At issue here is a fortysomething man whose mom saw fit to criticize him as she did, and then to defend him so he could get a job. Time to cut the cord and grow up, Pete.
